Welcome
This website is the tale of St.Annes-on-Sea which lies on the sandy Fylde coast in Lancashire just south of Blackpool. We are proud of St.Annes. It is brimming with tradition, Lancashire friendliness, charm and style. Our website is produced locally and is constantly updated to have all the information you will need if you are a visitor to, or if your home is in ...

St.Annes is a traditional seaside resort to the north of Lytham and with its Victorian Porritt buildings, a Pier, Bandstand, Promenade Gardens and of course donkeys rides which are still main attractions for family holidays in summer.
Although St Annes is built alongside Blackpool (located 3 miles away), the much more peaceful atmosphere couldn't be more different. It was developed to cater for holiday makers from around the country earlier in the last century and did it very successfully. It still attracts visitors today with new family attractions. It also offers a haven for retirement to a prosperous area by the sea with plenty of choices to keep you active. The town centre's spacious Square has recently undergone major investment and regeneration which exudes a continental atmosphere. Wood Street has become a centre for a range of quality eating establishments
While St. Annes is a haven of peace and tranquillity it is continually maintaining its modern approach whilst retaining its familiar charm and holds the essential ingredients for a special weekend away, family holiday or breath of fresh air whatever the weather.

St Annes boasts a preserved heritage largely through the Victorian Pier continuing its status as an original seaside resort. Take a step back in time as you stroll along the promenade past the bandstand and gardens, on to the beach there are donkey rides for the kids while you can take in the stunning views. There is also beautiful Ashton Gardens which is truly inspiring as well as being a very tranquil part of St Annes.
Our town does have claim to International fame. The town's name is known because of its association with golf. As well as the famous Royal Lytham & St.Annes Golf Club, site of several British Open Golf Championships, we also have The Old Links and Fairhaven Golf Clubs.
A visit to Lytham St Annes Lifeboat Station will provide a rare chance for you to delve into the marine history of St Annes in the museum located within the fully functional lifeboat station then relax on the café terrace.

The fresh features of St Annes are always there to greet you whether it’s intriguing walkways, stylish seating, entertaining street shows or fashionable cafes on Wood Street, you’re sure to notice the little touches which make St. Annes so special. Situated near to the Promenade Gardens is The Island complex and Victorian Pier, an area bursting with entertainment for all the family.
The majority of the resort’s quality hotels and self-catering accommodation stretch along the Promenade and Clifton Drive with some tucked away along the quieter roads all within walking distance of the town centre, attractions and golf courses.
St.Annes has miles of dunes and very flat, a safe sandy beach so the distance between high and low tides can be at least a mile. If you are on a sandbank, be careful the tide doesn't come in behind you, or you'll be paddling home.
If you want to know more or you think there is something missing let us know and we will see what we can do accommodate it.
